Score breakdown

The five marks are defined on how we rate. They are an editorial scale, not a regulator’s grade.

Licence and operator

Apollo Slots states that it is owned and operated by Paxson Marketing Ltd and licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under licence ALSI-102404011-FI3. The terms PDF describes the service as interactive online gaming and names the same company. There is no South African provincial licence on the pages checked on 16 October 2026.

Welcome offer

The promotions page lists an “R9,999 Apollo Welcome Bonus” in three coupons:

Those caps add up to R9,999. The promotions page says standard terms apply. The bonus-terms PDF is more specific. The R9,999 offer needs a minimum deposit of R50, applies to the first three deposits only, and cannot be combined with another Apollo promotion. Wagering is 30 times the deposit plus the bonus. The PDF’s example: deposit R100, receive R100, wager R6,000 before a cash-out. Play on blackjack, video poker, roulette, pontoon, bingo, craps, War, sic-bo and baccarat is excluded. You can cash out the bonus only if the balance is greater than the deposit plus the bonus. If the profit is smaller than the bonus, the shortfall stays as casino credit. If you lose more than the bonus, the PDF says the extra restriction falls away, and the wagering requirement still applies.

A separate line, code SIGNUP250, is 250% up to R1,000 if you deposit R100 or more. Once per player. The page says wagering times 30. The bonus terms say that current promotions above 50% are wagered at 30 times the deposit and the bonus, and that blackjack counts as one tenth toward that requirement. SIGNUP250 and the R9,999 package are both published. The package terms say the R9,999 coupons cannot be used with any other Apollo promotion, so they are alternatives, not a stack.

Code “R 400APS” is R400 free. The general free-credit rules in the bonus terms set no-deposit coupons at 60 times the amount received, with a maximum cash-out of twice the bonus. The promotions page does not repeat those two figures next to the code. Read the coupon in the cashier before you treat R800 as a guaranteed cap. Free coupons cannot be redeemed one after another. A real-money deposit has to sit between them.

Dated offers on the same page, checked 16 October 2026:

Payments

The banking menu lists credit and debit cards, cash deposits and internet bank transfers, EFTSecure, Neteller, EcoPayz and crypto. The minimum for a cash or internet deposit is R50. The public page tells you to email the bank’s success confirmation and to use the player ID as the reference. Verified internet transfers are credited immediately, and the casino reserves the right to void credits if the deposit does not show on its statement for that value date. Card minimums are not stated on the banking index. Ozow is not named. No voucher method is listed.

Withdrawals

The cash-out page matches the Silversands wording closely. Processing is two working days, excluding weekends and public holidays, with the same Monday-to-Wednesday example. Some transactions take up to 72 business hours to appear on the bank statement. The FAQ says withdrawal requests are processed in two full working days excluding the day they were requested, then up to three further working days for the bank, and that the minimum withdrawal is R200. A real-money deposit and account verification are required. Card deposits need a fax-back form. Payments up to R100,000 are paid within two working days. Further winnings in the same month are R100,000 a week. Jackpots and winnings from bonus credits are R10,000 a week. Withdrawals go to personal South African cheque or savings accounts.

What the score is measuring

Apollo is third. The headline package is the largest of the four, and the PDF does state the wagering base, which is why it sits above White Lotus. The promotions page still leans on “standard terms” for several weekly coupons, so the clarity mark is not as high as Silversands or Springbok. The cash-out clock is the same working-day pattern as the other Paxson casinos, not the 48–72 hour line Springbok prints for InstantEFT.
