Wagering is a rand total, not a slogan

A wagering requirement is the value of bets you must place before a bonus balance can be withdrawn. White Lotus’s FAQ defines it as the value of bets placed, win or lose. A R1 bet counts as R1 even if that spin returns R100.

Two bases that both say “30 times”

Apollo’s bonus terms give the deposit-plus-bonus version. Deposit R100, receive R100, and the requirement is 30 times R200, which is R6,000. Springbok’s terms use the same base for deposit coupons: 30 times the sum of the deposit and the bonus, unless the coupon says otherwise.

Silversands’ SIGNUP200 page uses the bonus-only version. Its example is a R200 signup bonus, wagered at 30 times R200, which is also R6,000. The deposit is not added. A 200% match up to R1,000 can produce a larger bonus than a 100% match on the same deposit, and the requirement follows the bonus.

White Lotus prints “Wagering x40” on SIGNUP150 and does not choose a base. Until the cashier does, the requirement cannot be calculated. The October coupons on that site are explicit: 40 times the deposit, the bonus and the free-spin winnings.

Games that do not count, or count in part

Springbok lists the games that count: 7 Stud Poker, bingo, European Slot Poker, keno, Pai Gow Poker, scratch cards and all slots, unless a promotion says otherwise. A wager on anything else, before the requirement is done, voids the bonus and the winnings.

Silversands’ signup offer counts blackjack and video poker at half, and it excludes roulette, pontoon, bingo, craps, War! and baccarat, plus a list of named slots in the Silversands review. Apollo’s R9,999 terms exclude blackjack, video poker, roulette, pontoon, bingo, craps, War, sic-bo and baccarat. On current promotions above 50%, blackjack counts as one tenth.

No-deposit chips

Springbok wagers no-deposit coupons at 60 times the bonus and caps the cash-out at five times the bonus. TEST-SPRINGBOK is R250, so the cap printed beside it is R1,250. Silversands wagers SSFR400 at 60 times R400, which the page calculates as R24,000, and caps the cash-out at twice the bonus. Apollo’s general free-credit rule is the same 60-times and twice-the-bonus pattern. The promotions page does not repeat it on the R400 line, so the cashier still has to confirm that coupon.

Comp points, once redeemed, are treated as free bonus credits at Silversands and White Lotus. Springbok forbids stacking free bonuses with no real-money deposit between them, and it says the same about winnings that come from comp points in that situation.

None of these totals is a prediction of profit. They are the minimum stake the terms demand before a withdrawal of the bonus is even considered. The cash-out clock only starts after that, and after verification. See withdrawal times.

Wagering questions

Why can two “30 times” offers need different stakes?

Apollo and Springbok multiply the deposit plus the bonus. Silversands’ SIGNUP200 multiplies the bonus only. A R100 deposit and a R100 bonus is R6,000 either way only when the bonus itself is R100 under the bonus-only rule, or when the sum is R200 under the other rule.

What should you do with White Lotus “Wagering x40”?

Do not calculate it. The welcome line does not choose a base. Forty times the bonus and forty times the deposit plus the bonus are different rand totals.
